Day 135/365 – The Power of Gathering with Fellow Believers

THE WORD: HEBREWS 10:24-25

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

LET’S PRAY

Lord, help me cherish fellowship, serve humbly, receive Your guidance, minister grace, and glimpse heavenly unity. Amen.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Believer, don’t underestimate the importance of gathering with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Every time you come together remember that you are part of something greater than yourself – the body of Christ. This is an opportunity to encourage one another, pray for one another, and spur each other on towards love and good deeds. So come with expectancy, ready to receive God’s instruction and encouragement, but also be intentional in using your gifts and talents to build up the church. Not just the entity, but the people. We aren’t just talking about singing, drumming, speaking etc. You are to minister to others what you have received from Him – forgiveness, comfort, and reconciliation. As we gather, may we experience a foretaste of the perfect unity and love awaiting you in heaven.
