Day 77/365 – Discipleship in Community

THE WORD: JOHN 13:34

Love one another as I have loved you.

LET’S PRAY

Help me to understand and demonstrate true discipleship in community, loving others as myself and using my Christian liberty to serve them. Forgive me for any actions that may have hindered others from obeying your truth, and protect me from false doctrine and opinions that may distract me from your will. Teach me to walk in love, serving others and considering their well-being in all I do. Amen.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Let’s talk about something crucial: discipleship in community. You see, Jesus summed up discipleship in one instruction: love one another. It’s not about how well you preach, how gifted you are, or how much you serve. It’s about how you treat one another. So, I want to ask you: are you demonstrating love towards your brothers and sisters in Christ? Are you using your Christian liberty to serve others, or are you using it to serve yourself? Take a moment to reflect on your actions and motives. Are you hindering others from obeying the truth, or are you encouraging them to walk in love?  Remember, love authenticates our actions, and it’s the most spiritual thing we can do. So, let’s make a conscious effort to love one another, and to use our freedom to serve others.
