THE WORD: 1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
LET’S PRAY
Dear Lord, help me live for Christ, making an impact that honors Him. Make me a faithful witness, preaching His message with confidence. Help me appreciate my uniqueness, using my gifts to serve others, and give me a mindset that seeks to serve rather than seek glory. Help me master myself, focusing on what You’ve given me, rather than comparing myself to others.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
It’s time to wake up and remember that we’re called to be kingdom priests, not just ordinary citizens of this world. We need to stop focusing on our problems and start focusing on the greatest problem that God has already solved – our salvation through Jesus Christ. It’s time to remind yourself that we’re all unique and have a special facet of God that we reflect. It’s time to stop comparing yourself to others and start mastering yourself, using your gifts to serve others. Today we need to pray with an eternal perspective, knowing that our prayers can change the course of history. We’re called to reign on the earth, not just occupy space. Let’s rise up and fulfill our assignment as kingdom priests!
Don’t be fooled by the world’s standards and morals. You are a child of God. Before you are a man, a woman, a teacher, a dancer, you are a child of God! And you have a Father who loves you dearly. He wants you to know who you are and where you come from, informing the decisions you make and the lifestyle you lead. He wants you to cultivate close proximity with him, beholding his nature and leading a life representative of the one you spend the most time with. So let’s pray!
