THE WORD: Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
LET’S PRAY
Dear Heavenly Father, we pray that we may understand and prioritise our role in the local church, submitting to Your will and governance. May we recognize our unity in Christ and glorify You in our assemblies. Amen.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Let us ask God to help us understand the significance of the local church and our role in it. We must prioritise meeting together as the assembly of God, honouring His will and purpose. Do you recognise that our coming together is not just a social gathering, but a divine appointment to worship, grow, and serve together? With that, we must also we behave ourselves in the house of God, submitting to His rules and governance. How? The Bible instructs us to do good unto all, especially those of the household of faith, demonstrating God’s love and care. All of the rules are summed up in this: Seek to love one another. Our coming together should be for the better, not for the worse, not for gossiping, not for manipulation, but for glorifying God in our assemblies.
