THE WORD: Proverbs 20:21
An inheritance gained hastily in the beginning will not be blessed in the end.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, help me trust Your timing. Grant wisdom and patience to embrace growth for faithful stewardship. Cultivate faithfulness, integrity, and perseverance as I wait. Protect me from demanding breakthrough now, and help me stay the course, trusting Your timing.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Proverbs 20:21 warns that “an inheritance gained hastily in the beginning will not be blessed in the end.” In other words, prosperity without the proper process equals loss. God is faithful, but He won’t allow you to carry more than you can bear.
He is developing qualities like faithfulness, integrity, and perseverance in you through the process. Remember, an inheritance is not something you earn, but rather something that is given to you.
The time of waiting and maturing is meant to make you a good steward of what God has prepared for you. There are set times and seasons for His blessings to manifest, and your job is to stay the course, trusting in His perfect timing.
The temptation is to rush ahead, to demand your breakthrough now, but the right thing at the wrong time is still the wrong thing. Embrace the process, and watch as God brings your dreams to fruition in His perfect timing.
