THE WORD: Psalm 143:10
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!
LET’S PRAY
Almighty God, may I wholeheartedly pursue and submit to Your perfect will for my life. Grant me the wisdom to recognise and obey Your instructions, and the strength to faithfully do Your will, not just know it.
May my obedience flow from a heart of worship and gratitude, not selfish motives. Enable me, by Your Spirit, to keep Your commands with unwavering devotion.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
The will of God is not some elusive treasure to be discovered, but rather a clear path for you to faithfully follow. Beloved, do not be deceived – God’s will is not a bondage or restriction, but a loving invitation to experience the abundant life He has for you.
Refuse to see it as a painful burden or a lottery reserved for the privileged few. Instead, cultivate a heart that yearns to do the will of the Lord, not simply to know or understand it.
Be like the psalmist who cried out 175 times to be enabled to keep God’s commands. Make it your highest aim to honour and worship the Lord through your wholehearted obedience.
As you submit to His perfect plan, may you know the joy and fulfilment that comes from walking in step with the Almighty.
