THE WORD: John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
LET’S PRAY
Lord, help me to remain in You, prioritize You above all else, and align my life with Your will, so that I may produce much fruit, glorify Your name, and reflect Christ’s character to others.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Take some time to reflect on John 15:5-8, and remember that Jesus warns us about the consequences of not bearing fruit in our lives. But don’t worry, He’s not talking about losing your salvation.
Instead, He’s highlighting the importance of authentic, intimate connection with Him.
So, I urge you to pray with me: Lord, help me to abide in You, depending on You for everything, prioritising You above all else, immersing myself in Your Word and prayer, and using me to glorify Your name and reputation, reflecting Christ’s character and sharing His love with others.
Don’t just go through the motions of Christianity; genuinely connect with Jesus and allow His life to flow through you. Make Him your top priority, and watch how He uses you to produce much fruit and bring glory to His Father.
