THE WORD: Psalm 149:4

For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.

LET’S PRAY

Dear Lord, please help me to live in the knowledge of Your approval. Let seeking Your righteousness be my top priority, empowering me to serve You wholeheartedly, without needing praise from others. Grow in me an unwavering longing to please You alone, and may I find my greatest joy in Your boundless love and acceptance.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Hey friend, are you tired of always needing other people to tell you that you’re good enough? It’s time to break free from that cycle and go after the love and acceptance that only God can give.

Psalm 149:4 says “The Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.” Just think about that – the God of the universe delights in you, just as you are! His love is so much deeper and more real than anything we can find in this world.

So I really want to encourage you – make living in God’s approval and doing what’s right your top priority, trusting that He’ll take care of your needs. Let go of needing praise from others and live only for God’s glory. Find your greatest joy in His endless love and acceptance of you.
