There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
LET’S PRAY
Dear Lord, I pray that Your love and acceptance will comfort and encourage me in the midst of my struggles with shame. Help me to experience Your forgiveness and healing from the pain of past mistakes.
I ask that You reveal to me my true identity in Christ, and that I may fully understand and embrace it. I pray that I may overcome the weight of shame and find peace and hope in Your presence.
And when I need it, guide me to seek support from others and help, that I may walk in freedom and wholeness.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Shame can be a heavy burden to carry, but it doesn’t have to define you. As a child of God, you are loved, accepted, and forgiven. Take a moment to pray with me, asking God to comfort and encourage you with His love.
Ask Him to heal and forgive you from past mistakes, and to help you understand your true identity in Christ.
Don’t let shame hold you back any longer. Remember, you are not alone, and God is always willing to listen and offer comfort.
