THE WORD: Exodus 4:10-11
But Moses pleaded with the Lord, ‘O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get all tangled up.’ The Lord replied, ‘Who makes you able to speak, and who gives you your voice?
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, I surrender my doubts and fears to You. I choose to trust in Your promise to be with me, no matter what. Help me to step out in faith, even when it feels scary or uncertain.
Remind me that my identity and worth come from being Your beloved child, not from my own strengths or accomplishments.
Help me to walk in faith and obedience, knowing that You are always with me.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Are you like Moses, wondering ‘Who am I?’ and feeling inadequate for the task God has called you to? Remember how Moses, a former prince of Egypt, was called by God to lead the Israelites out of slavery?
He was hesitant at first, feeling like he wasn’t qualified for the job. But God reassured him, saying, ‘I will be with you.’ And with that promise, Moses stepped out in faith, despite his fears and insecurities.
He went to Pharaoh, performed miracles, and led the Israelites to freedom. You can do the same! Don’t let your insecurities and fears hold you back any longer. You are not alone, and God is with you.
Trust in His promise, and step out in faith, just like Moses did.
You are capable of great things, not because of who you are, but because of Whose you are.
