THE WORD: Romans 8:31
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
LET’S PRAY
Lord, help me to see others and myself through Your eyes, just as You saw the hidden potential in David and encouraged Timothy.
Empower me to cast off the labels and limiting beliefs that hold me back, remembering that Your ways are higher than the world’s.
Instil in me a spirit of courage, faith, and willingness to follow Your call, for I am Your child, created in Your image and filled with Your Spirit.
May I rise above any obstacle and fulfil the purpose You have for my life, knowing that if You are for me, nothing can stand against me.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
In the eyes of society, you may not be seen as much beyond what you do, and have done. But God sees something different in you, just as He saw the potential in David, a mere shepherd boy, to become a great king.
Don’t let the labels and limiting beliefs of others hold you back from fulfilling the purpose God has for your life. Embrace the truth that “there is a way that seems right to a person, but eventually it leads to death” (Proverbs 16:25 NLT).
Be encouraged, like the young disciple Timothy, despite his young age, and trust that you are God’s child, created in His image and filled with His Spirit, not defined by your perceived shortcomings.
With God on your side, you can rise above any obstacle, for “if God is for us, who can be against us?”.
Trust in His perspective, cast off the world’s limitations, and step into the calling He has placed upon your life.
