THE WORD: 1 Peter 5:7
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, guide me to pray without guilt, offer my distractions as prayers, and seek Your peace in all aspects of life. Remind me of Your constant presence, Your willingness to rescue me, and encourage me to cast all my anxieties on You, for You care deeply about me. Help me to always approach You with an honest and vulnerable heart.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Are you struggling to maintain your focus during prayer, feeling like you’ve run out of words after just a few minutes? Do you feel like you’ve disappointed God? Maybe you’ve told yourself that you’re not as serious of a Christian as others who seem to pray for hours at a time without distraction? It’s time to let go of that guilt. God isn’t seeking your perfection; He’s seeking you.
Whatever is occupying your thoughts—be it your job, personal relationships, or health concerns—bring it to God. He is always ready to listen and eager to help. Remember, the Lord is with you in times of trouble, and He promises to rescue and honor you (Psalm 91:15). Peter reminds us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He truly cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
Let’s speak to God truthfully and from the heart.
