THE WORD: 2 Corinthians 5:18
“And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I thank You for what you are doing in their land, and how you are preparing them for change. Lord please heal the deep wounds caused by ethnic divisions and the effects of war. I pray for those involved in organized crime. May they turn from their ways and steal no more.
Father, raise up leaders who love You and will get rid of this problem. I pray for the young people of Bosnia. I pray that they will find hope in you. Lord, through them, I pray there will be a new generation of leaders to guide their country towards a better future. In Your Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
As you read this and about the struggles in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I really want to encourage you to pray with all your heart for this country. The pain of ethnic divisions and the aftermath of war are still very much felt. Today many Bosnians are dealing with being displaced and living in poverty. But we believe in a God who can heal, bring people together, and make things right. Right? So let’s pray for God to stop those involved in organized crime and to bring up leaders who love Him and will work hard to get rid of this problem.
We also need to pray for the young people of Bosnia. What for? We need to ask God to give them hope and to raise up a new generation of leaders who will bravely guide their country towards a better future. Let’s commit the local believers into God’s hand. As followers of Christ, they have an important job to be people who bring change, reconciliation, and hope. Let’s pray for God’s strength to shine brightly through them.
Let’s pray that they speak and act with Jesus’ love, transforming their communities and drawing others to Him.
