THE WORD: Isaiah 40:11
He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, I lift up Haiti and its people to You in this time of great need. May Your love and compassion reach them, bringing healing and hope to this nation. I pray that You would break through the darkness of corruption, poverty, hunger, and violence, and bring lasting change. May any hardened hearts become open to your truth and love. May your compassion overcome any pain and fear. May the people of Haiti turn to one another in support. I ask for Your hand of protection over the people, and for peace, stability, and a brighter future to be established in this land.In Jesus’ Name. Amen
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Let us come together in prayer for the people of Haiti who have endured unimaginable suffering in recent years. They have faced years of injustice, political turmoil, and natural disasters that have left them struggling with poverty, violence, and lack of basic necessities. The devastating earthquakes, cholera outbreaks, high fuel prices, and political unrest have only added to their struggles.
We must remember that this nation has endured centuries of injustice, and even after independence, continued hardship and poverty have plagued their land. Now, gangs control large parts of the country, leaving the people vulnerable and without proper protection. Corruption, poverty, hunger, and violence are rampant.
In this time of great need, I urge you to join me in praying for God’s love and compassion to reach the people of Haiti. May the Lord be close to the brokenhearted and rescue those whose spirits are crushed.
