THE WORD: Mark 8:22-26
24 Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man’s eyes, he laid his hands on him and asked, “Can you see anything?”
25 The man looked up and said, “I see people. They look like trees walking around.”
26 Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again. And he opened his eyes, looked up, and saw everything clearly.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, today I declare that I refuse to settle for seeing ‘men like trees’ in my life. I ask that you touch my eyes again and again, restoring my brokenness and giving me a clear vision for my life. Help me to make time for you and allow you to continually work in my life, especially in times of weariness, discouragement, and triggering emotions. I want to experience your restoration and transformation in every area of my life, just as you originally designed it. Help me to keep letting you touch my life and shift my perspective, that I may see everything clearly and live a life that honours you.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
I want to remind you of the powerful story of the blind man in Mark 8:22-26. Jesus took him by the hand, led him out of the town, and touched his eyes. At first, the man saw people like trees walking, but Jesus touched him again and he saw everything clearly.
I want to ask you, are you stuck in a place of limited vision, seeing only glimpses of what your freedom, your complete self could be? Don’t settle for that! God is calling you to a life of clarity and purpose. Every time you feel broken, weary, or discouraged, remember that God wants to touch your life and restore you to His original, perfect design. He wants to shift your perspective and give you a clear vision for your life.
But here is the thing: You have to let Him. You have to make time for Him and allow Him to work in your life. Will you commit to making time for God and allowing Him to transform you? Will you keep letting Him touch your life and restore you to His original design?
