THE WORD: Psalm 100:4-5
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, help me, I’m often distracted! Help me to focus on Your faithfulness, setting my gaze on Your goodness, entering Your gates with thanksgiving. Teach me to trust in Your unchanging ways and learn the depths of Your unending love. May this produce in me thankfulness for Your indescribable gift.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
This morning, I want to challenge you to shift your focus from your blessings to the One who blesses. Let’s not just be thankful for what we have, but for who God is. He is good, faithful, and loving. His faithfulness has continued through all generations, from the Israelites in the wilderness to our lives today. As the Psalmist writes, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations” (Psalm 100:4-5).
Let’s take a moment to reflect on His unchanging ways and unending love. As David reminds us, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever!” (1 Chronicles 16:34). And in Colossians 2:7, Paul encourages us to “overflow with thankfulness” because of our faith in Christ. Let’s begin this new quarter by giving thanks to God for His faithfulness, and may our faith be built on His unshakeable foundation.
