DAY 103/365 – Courage for Discipleship

THE WORD: Luke 14:33
So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple.
LET’S PRAY
Father, as I walk the path of discipleship, fill me with the courage to face its demands. Grant me unwavering conviction to count the cost, not with fear, but with resolute hearts. May I be ever willing to surrender all that hinders my pursuit of You, for the surpassing reward of following Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Brothers and sisters, as I encourage you to open Luke 14:25-35, let’s prepare our hearts for Jesus’ powerful message. Following Christ is no small feat. He lovingly challenges us to examine our commitment. Our love for Him must surpass all earthly attachments, even those closest to us. Remember the parable of the unfinished tower or the foolish king going to war? Jesus calls us to be strategic disciples, counting the cost before we commit. Following Him requires sacrifice, a willingness to carry our crosses daily (Luke 14:27). Let’s pray for unwavering dedication, like salt that retains its flavor (Mark 9:50). May we count the cost and embrace the priceless reward of true discipleship!
