God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble
LET’S PRAY
Dear Lord, my heart aches for our brothers and sisters in war-torn Afghanistan. I plead for Your mighty hand to be their shield, protecting them from harm. May Your peace, like a gentle shepherd, guide their nation towards stability. I pray especially for those who follow You, Lord. Stir the hearts of Christians worldwide, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Let us offer unwavering support and Christ-like compassion to our Afghan family. Amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Many brothers and sisters in Christ in Afghanistan are facing a time of great hardship. The recent takeover by the Taliban has brought much uncertainty and danger, especially for those who follow Jesus. Let us join together in fervent prayer, lifting them before the Lord. Pray for their safety, for peace in their nation, and for unwavering strength in their faith. Ask God to move hearts around the world to support our Christian family in Afghanistan. As we come together in prayer, may God hear our cries and deliver them from this darkness.
