DAY 106/365 – Learning from Jesus’ Perseverance

THE WORD: Galatians 6:9-10

9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

LET’S PRAY

Lord, grant me eyes to see beyond the horizon of this day. Help me understand that the ripples of our actions, both big and small, contribute to a grander purpose in Your Kingdom. May I never lose sight of the eternal impact of sharing Your love with the world.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Imagine Jesus, walking dusty roads, sharing the Gospel with a yearning heart. He faced not just indifference, but rejection and mockery. Remember the Pharisees, twisting his words and plotting his downfall? Yet, Jesus never faltered. He understood the concept of the harvest – that glorious ingathering of souls into the Kingdom of Heaven. This, brothers and sisters, is a powerful lesson for us today. We, too, may face moments of discouragement. Our acts of service might not be met with immediate praise. The seeds of faith we plant may seem to fall on barren ground. But let us draw strength from Jesus’ unwavering spirit! He reminds us that the harvest, the ultimate fruit of our labor, may come later, but when it does, it will be a sight of unimaginable beauty – countless souls brought to the light of God’s love.
