DAY 111/365 – FOR THE VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING

THE WORD: HEBREWS 13:3

Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

LET’S PRAY

Dear Lord, I pray for restoration and healing for victims of human trafficking. May they find hope and love in You. Pour out Your grace on families and communities, that they may welcome back their loved ones with open arms. Use the Church as a source of support and hope. May I be a powerful force in the battle against human trafficking and for the restoration of its victims. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Victims returning to their homes and countries of origin experience ongoing difficulties in reintegration. Leaving prostitution and trafficking is not only incredibly difficult but complex and often requires a huge amount of support. Pray that families would not shun daughters that society tells them are “ruined”. Pray also that the Church would become a family to those feeling without help or hope. The global Church, operating locally, can be a powerful force in the battle against human trafficking, and for the restoration of its victims.
