DAY 30/365 – Global Water Challenges

THE WORD: PSALM 24:1-2

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

LET’S PRAY

Lord Jesus, I pray for equitable access to clean water, responsible consumption, and sustainable practices to address the impending global water crisis. May there be regulatory changes, that can bring out greater equity amongst your children.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

One in six people, that’s right, one in six, lack safe drinking water. Imagine that – a simple act like turning on the tap becomes a daily struggle. By 2025, that number could soar to three billion! This isn’t a distant problem; it’s a crisis unfolding right now. Waste in our own homes and unsustainable practices, especially in agriculture, only worsen the situation. With populations growing, the pressure on this precious resource will only intensify.

Let’s not stand by. Let’s pray fervently for a spirit of responsible consumption, for sustainable practices, and most importantly, for equitable access to water for all.
