DAY 61/365 – Choosing Spiritual Richness Over Worldly Pleasures
THE WORD: PROVERBS 19:1
Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to put spiritual richness above all else, to resist the temptations of the world, and to faithfully walk the path You have set before me. Help me seek Your approval above any praise the world may offer. Guide me with Your wisdom and strength as I strive to live according to Your will.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Brothers and sisters in Christ, let us join hands in prayer! As a new day dawns, let’s raise our voices in thanks to our Heavenly Father for the gift of His Word, a guiding light on our journey. In our prayers, let’s express a yearning for deeper faith, a desire to chase God’s purpose rather than fleeting worldly pleasures. Grant us the strength to resist the siren song of sin and the pressure to conform.
Inspired by the early Church’s unwavering faith, let us commit ourselves wholeheartedly to following God’s will. Let His approval be our greatest reward, surpassing any earthly praise. With the anticipation of our Lord’s return ever present, let’s remain steadfast in our faith. May our lives be a shining example of our unwavering devotion to Him.
