THE WORD: Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns.’
LET’S PRAY
Lord, grant peace and wisdom to the leaders, protection for all involved, resources for rebuilding, international cooperation, healing for families, and a spirit of hope to guide Korea towards a peaceful and prosperous reunification. May they find commonality in you, and may their hearts be inclined towards your truth and direction
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Korea presents a coexistence of an unsustainable, faltering dictatorship alongside an affluent yet cautious democracy. The critical considerations looming over the horizon pertain to the prospective reunification and the ensuing financial implications involved in the reconstruction of the North. Any outbreak of conflict would undoubtedly yield dire and devastating consequences for both entities involved in this delicate geopolitical landscape.
