DAY 83/365 – Trusting in God’s Power and Provision

THE WORD: 1 SAMUEL 17:47

And that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.

LET’S PRAY

Lord, bestow upon me the faith to rely on Your strength, the bravery to remain steadfast amidst trials, the insight to nurture a close bond with You, the resilience to withstand temptation, and the commitment to lead a life devoted to purity and service unto You.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Have you ever felt like David facing Goliath? In our walk with Christ, we all encounter giants: the Goliaths of injustice, the slingstones of illness, the daily battles between our desires and our faith (Galatians 5:17). But just like David, our victory is secured in God! Through prayer, we gain the strength to stand tall, the guidance to resist temptation, and the unwavering faith to conquer any obstacle. Let’s deepen our bond with Christ and serve Him wholeheartedly, knowing He’s always by our side. Together, with unwavering faith, we can face any giant and claim victory in Christ’s name!
