DAY 84/365 – A Call to Decision
THE WORD: JOSHUA 24:15
And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
LET’S PRAY
Lord, give me the strength and wisdom to make a heartfelt decision today to serve you completely, turning away from all distractions and false gods. Help me live a life fully devoted to Christ, putting aside my own desires and embracing my daily responsibilities. Amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Brothers and sisters in Christ, have you ever felt the world vying for your attention? Distractions lurk around every corner, just like the false idols tempted the Israelites in Joshua’s time. Today, I challenge you, as Joshua challenged them: will you choose to fully follow Christ? A simple belief isn’t enough. We must actively place Him at the center of our lives. Don’t let another day slip by! Take a moment right now to reflect. Where does your heart truly lie? Will you chase the fleeting pleasures of this world, or will you stand with me in declaring, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord!”? Let this be the day you commit. The choice you make echoes into eternity
