DAY 86/365 – Breaking the Shackles of Materialism in Andorra

THE WORD: MATTHEW 6:19-21
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
LET’S PRAY
Dear God, we pray for the people of Andorra. Many things in life can seem tempting, but true happiness comes from knowing You. We ask that the churches in Andorra grow stronger and share the message of how much You love us.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Andorra, once a peaceful sanctuary, now grapples with a worldly temptation. Materialism, the insatiable craving for possessions, has taken hold. Drawn by Andorra’s tax-free haven, tourists and fortune seekers flock to acquire more. While these worldly treasures may offer a fleeting thrill, they leave a hollowness within. The steadfast churches of Andorra stand as beacons of a different path. They remind us that lasting joy comes not from fleeting possessions, but from a deeper connection with God. May the people of Andorra pierce the veil of materialism and rediscover the true source of happiness – faith in our Lord.
