*Look at this more like the intro to the album, than a proper single. Sometimes the intros still be hitting though*

Yeah, we spoke about Ananias and Sapphira and why integrity is so important in the Church, but what about your day to day. Having integrity isn’t necessarily about not being deceitful. It is more that what you say and what you mean are the same thing. You make a promise and you keep it.

I’m sure there’s gonna be topics where people will feel like it doesn’t apply to them. Like let’s keep it real, I’m sure there were people reading about David and sex thinking, “Well this could never be me, I haven’t even kissed a boy (or girl)”,but on the matter of integrity, I feel like it’s something everyone can work on.

So here’s a little story.

Meet Jamie and Julie.

Date’s over and they’ve decided to stop round the local fast-food spot. Jamie’s ordered their food, a nice little bargain bucket, and he’s drove off (yes, he paid). Midway through their journey back, he realised that the bucket was full of cash. It was later discovered that the manager had put the night’s money in the bucket to camouflage and prevent any stealing before he takes it to the bank. Jamie mistakenly was given the bucket with the cash in it rather than the chicken (wouldn’t it feel light? I guess it was a lot of cash).

Jamie was an active member of his church so he looked at Julie and said, “I can’t keep this money”. So, he went back and gave it to the manager. Of course, the manager was extremely grateful and asked Jamie why he did it. He said, “I am a man of God, and I felt convicted”. The manager took out his phone and asked to take a picture with Jamie and Julie saying “Go get your wife. Let the community know what kind of man you are”.

But Jamie said “No I can’t do that. Yes, I’m married, but that lady in the car is not my wife.”

It really is so easy to appear like you have integrity. It is just as easy to appear to be one way and actually be another.
